Children's Jubilee 2008: Africa

The annual Children's Carnival (also known as the Children's Jubilee) includes a family-length concert, hands-on science and art activities, and displays.  During the week leading up to the Saturday concert, musicians and performers travel to area schools to teach local elementary schools about music and the Jubilee's theme for the year.

The 2008 Children's Carnival: Africa included Africa, a new symphony written by Nelson/McDonald, storyteller Janice Brooks and the Southern Utah University Percussion Ensemble.
